2015
2015 marked the start of my bachelor in Fine Arts at Academy Minerva, Groningen. I remember feeling at home, meeting many people who would again, share ambitions, curiosity, and fascination towards art. During my first year of study I revisited older practices I have done in the past: painting, drawing, analog photography... but it did not take me long to start working with people again, this time as my main material and research focus.
'Social experiment' was what I considered
my first conscious work in which I interacted with someone,
guiding them and facilitating a personal experience.
Afterward, I would have an open conversation about this with the participant.

In the beginning, it was a one-on-one encounter, but after a few sessions, it started to grow for groups of three and five people,
opening up possibilities to do this within bigger groups,
exploring the possibilities of it.
During this year I also developed a project
which turned into my first artist book, called 'What inspires you'.
Curious about what inspires people to do what they do in life,
I set up a website where everyone could upload an image
and share their thoughts about it.
