2013
When preparing myself to jump to the other side of the globe, I began with a platform called 'Encont(art)e en Buenos Aires',
which brought all my utmost fascinations together: art, people, and food.
Encontr(art)e aimed to (re)discover Buenos Aires' cultural scene while also meeting new people along the way.
I would carefully choose and caringly study the history and background information from each place we would visit, and I would share this with the group. It was aimed for tourists, but also for those who felt curious about exploring their local surroundings.
I remember feeling the need to not only keep this knowledge and wonderful places (which I would anyhow visit alone) to my own but felt the strong drive to share this with others.
We would meet in a certain spot of the city and I would guide the group to one particular museum, one exhibition, an architectural landmark, and we would end up having dinner together in a closed-door restaurant.
