Homescreen was a platform created by and for artists, that started at the very beginning of the pandemic in the Netherlands. It aimed to showcase emerging talent, re-thinking ways of promoting, experiencing and presenting art at a moment where art spaces where temporarily closed. Taking place on Instagram on a weekly basis, we introduced a total of six artists and two live musical acts, finishing with an artist talks together with the participants. From the first edition and til the end, I have been in charge of the artist talks (later on incorporating myself to the team), where my intentions were to, in an informal and open way, get to further know the artists who participated each week, draw connections between them and also share and support each other in such complex times.
